I opened my cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery practice about two years ago and I selected patientNOW primarily for its patented system to help with patient retention and growth. I also wanted a product that could be both an electronic medical record and point of sale system to manage my inventory and surgery fees.
The automated reminders help me provide that “personal touch” for my patients so they feel special and feel the practice is paying attention to their needs.
The customization of the templates and the flexibility of the patientNOW platform were additional key reasons I purchased the software. Each morning my staff and I review the list of appointments/consultations/procedures for the day which we print from the software. We then add sticky notes to the schedule to personalize each patient experience that day.
My practice is PC-based but in my office I have a Mac and we are pleased that the software works well on both the Mac and PCs.
